This is an elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with fine tannins, savoury and liquorice notes on the nose with lovely black cherries and plums following on the palate.

Matured for 20 months on 30% new French oak barrels, the balance in 2nd and 3rd fill barrels, with some on American oak.

This wine displays the most wonderful and complex nose.  There is up front perfume,
intermingled with concentrated cassis, black cherries and some herbaceousness.

The palate is very concentrated and elegant.  The wine will drink well now, but will age for at least another 10 years.  The finest example of South African Cabernet Sauvignon and certainly world-class.
