This is a blend of Viognier and Grenache blanc.  The grapes are desiccated on the vine
according to the ancient Greek practice to concentrate colour and flavours. 

It is a barrel-matured dry white blend, with intense fruit, layers of complexity and a well-integrated tannic structure and lingering finish.  Amalie is a wine to set new standards in white blending.

10% Cabernet Franc / 9% Merlot / 7% Malbec

Medium-bodied wine, soft on the palate with elegant blend of berry fruit, chocolate and spice. 

Ready for consumption, but will mature well over the next 3 years.

Sophisticated and elegantly styled.  Showing definitive fruit with clean, fresh citrus flavours of lime and grapefruit, a touch of ripe melon backed by a creamy, velvet mouth feel and a minerally, dry finish.

Secondary flavours and aromas of wood spice and light toast are created through fermentation and maturation in Burgundy oak barriques.

Koloni is the Xhosa name for ‘The Cape’. The grapes have been desiccated on the vine, pressed as whole bunches, fermented after settling and matured for six months in new French oak.

This is a floral, Muscat style wine with good structure, and a lingering unexpected dry finish.  A truly unique ‘meditation wine’.

A dark red with a floral nose, noble bitterness and good tannin structure on the palate.  Very elegantly made wine!!

A complex wine with typical Rustenberg aromas of cellar spices, dark cherries and fynbos. The palate is well and is richly layered with fruit.  Ageing potential of another 8 to 10 years, but drinks well now.  Very elegant!

A traditional hand crafted Cap Classique, the grapes come from a single block (Jack’s vineyard) on the cool southern slopes, handpicked in the early morning to retain freshness and flavour.  Small, stringy bubbles, intense nutty and leesy nose with refreshing citrus and yeasty shortbread flavours.

Muscat de Frontignan

Patience is a virtue when producing a wine with nectar so sweet.  Semi-dried Muscat d’frontignan bunches, delicious nuances of walnuts, baked raisins, apricots and honey. 

A well structured acidity balances out the sweetness perfectly.  This wine has amazing ageing potential but can be enjoyed young as well!

Each wine is made separately and blended after 14 months. After blending the wine has spent another 8 months  on French oak.

An intense wines, packed with fruit. A seamless blend, showing all varietals in layers. Cherries, strawberries and savoury notes on the nose and palate.
