Muscat / Colombar

Elegant, full-bodied natural sweet wine, revealing tropical fruit and attractive whiffs of muscat flavours.

Spain, Campo De Borja
100% Macabeo

Pale yellow colour with shades of steel.  Aromas are clean and fruity, intermingled with citrus and floral tones.  The palate is fresh and lively, fruity with a long finish.

South Africa, Stellenbosch
70% Chenin Blanc / 27% Chardonnay / 3% Semillon

Crisp, refreshing fruity and dry with flavours of tropical fruit, enriched with herbaceous nuances. Enjoy chilled; on its own or with fresh line fish, seafood dishes, pastas and salads.

Italy, Verona
85% Garganega / 15% Chardonnay

A good example of classic Soave, very fresh and fruity.  It has perfumes of ripe golden apples with sweet notes of flowers.  It is balanced on the palate, with slightly almond flavour that blends well with the sweetness of its bouquet.

South Africa, Constantia
60% Semillon / 40% Sauvignon Blanc

This classic white blend oozes tropical fruit and fresh lime flavours on the nose.

The palate reflects the aromas and finishes crisp with balanced acidity.  Showing a lot of typical Sauvignon Blanc flavours in its youth, while the Semillon adds extra complexity with a bit of bottle ageing.

Stellenbosch
Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot

This wine carries a subtle perfume of wild flowers, sub-tropical fruit, cinnamon and vanilla oak spice.

South Africa, Franschhoek
55% Viognier / 45% Grenache Blanc

This is a blend of Viognier and Grenache blanc.  The grapes are desiccated on the vine
according to the ancient Greek practice to concentrate colour and flavours. 

It is a barrel-matured dry white blend, with intense fruit, layers of complexity and a well-integrated tannic structure and lingering finish.  Amalie is a wine to set new standards in white blending.

South Africa, Franschhoek
59% Rhine Riesling / 29% Muscadel / 12% Muscat D’Alexandrie

Koloni is the Xhosa name for ‘The Cape’. The grapes have been desiccated on the vine, pressed as whole bunches, fermented after settling and matured for six months in new French oak.

This is a floral, Muscat style wine with good structure, and a lingering unexpected dry finish.  A truly unique ‘meditation wine’.

Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon

The first impression is clearly a lovely rich dark chocolate with attractive spicy support. There are nuances of black cherries, black berries and ripe plums.
